Default Possible Iron Man and Godfather release dates (Digital Bits)

This is just speculation from them but

Iron Man- Sept 30th

Godfather- Sept 23rd

Okay... our industry sources have checked in with word that Paramount is tentatively planning to bow the recent summer mega-hit Iron Man on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on (or around) 9/30.

Also, as we posted in the daily My Two Cents column yesterday (click here), our sources are indicating that Paramount is likely to deliver the DVD and Blu-ray release of the remastered Godfather Trilogy on 9/23.

As always, keep in mind that these dates are unofficial and are subject to change until they're actually announced by the studio.

Stay tuned!

Kill Bill, the Godfather, Iron Man, Transformers and L.A. Confidential all in the same month? And that's only a few titles.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall. 40 Year old Virgin. Knocked up. Shrek the third. Madagascar. Invincible Iron Man. Next Avengers. Beetlejuice.

Best Blu Ray month ever. Not to mention August 26th is HUGE as well with Heroes season 1 and 2, Nightmare before Christmas, U-571, Miami Vice, and Leatherheads

iron man date doesn't surprise me. I'll end up getting both. I am sure we haven't heard the end of the announcements for September. August - December are going to be packed with titles. It is going to be difficult keeping up with so many titles being released. The rest of the summer will hurt the bank account we well as the credit card. I day bring it ok!!! My wallet is ready and my arms are wide open waiting for all the upcoming releases!!

Miami Vice........ am i one of the few people who wanted to hit my head continuously against a brick wall after watching that.. I still have no clue what the hell i saw... it seemed to be days long and there was no flow to this movie... i give this a -36 out of 5 stars..

U-571 on the other hand.. now thats a film and is going to be great in blu.

No, you aren't in the minority when it comes to disliking that movie. That movie was terrible. The storyline was terrible, the action scenes was even worse. And you're right, there was no flow whatsoever in the movie. I don't understand how 2 good actors can starred in a movie that bad. Anybody who thinks this movie is great needs to get their head examined.

Can't wait for the Godfather trilogy. With all of the capacity available on Blu, I hope they present the movie in two formats: I, II, and III, along with one chronological version. I have a limited edition VHS set that has deleted scenes added back into the movie, and shows the movie in chronological order.

Would be nice to have both options.

Yup. Good thing my birthday is 9/11. Kill Bill, Transformers, Iron-Man, The God Father, possible the Matrix Trilogy. And I think Band of Brothers is Somwhere around there too. My wallet is aching.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; that chronological version is an abomination.

I definitely want Iron Man...

Will also buy Godfather I & II, but not III.
