Precisely the first thing that came to my mind when I read the plot outline.

Golding's novel has haunted me since I read it in college. Burger's movie, although not officially based on it, has a lot to live up to.

This could be really good. I thought Neil Burger did a great job on Divergent and he knows how to make a good-looking movie. It’s a shame he didn’t stay on for the sequels.

Maybe they will announce shortly that it will go to a streaming service.
I'm curious if it will be theatrical only, like Greenland went, or if it will also be VOD on that date.
