Possible Matrix series release date - Blu-ray Forum

According to Releaselists.com, The Matrix movies will be released on November 19th. I've not seen this anywhere else but I will vouch for this site as being reliable.

Last I heard was supposed to be November 2007 but I guess not.

november 19 is japanese release so i expect us release month before/after. but i'll take japanese...

To coincide with the Speed Racer release I'm sure. Very excited about owning that on BR too, it will look nothing short of astonishing.

That is to say that Warner Brothers better spend the time needed to ensure the transfer will make it nothing short of astonoshing. Definitely will be owning those when they arrive, even though the last two were ultimate failures in my book.

Identical to the HD DVD

TRANSFER is the actual process of taking the image from the film to the master tape

ENCODE is the compression stage

i don t know where i swa it on this forum buti saw that it should be released 19th november, i m almost sure it was a dutch blu ray release

It's a WB title, they're all DNR'd

That works for me. I believe Speed Racer is scheduled for 9/16.

It looks like on November 18th we will get The Matrix as seperate discs, the complete trilogy, the ultimate trilogy, plus Animatrix as well on Blu-ray http://www.releaselists.com/BLURAYNorthAmerica.html

LOL I thought the same thing. While I was clicking on the link I was thinking, "why are they releasing that and not the trilogy?"
