The makers of The Brave Little Toaster team with the comedy legend for this tuneful, all-family treat about a brave basset hound whose every move and joke is purest Rodney, captured as the funnyman was filmed recording his lines so the animators could recreate his uproarious personality. We meet Rover in Las Vegas, living the good life of a high-rolling hound. But -- win some, lose some -- he's transplanted to a farm where he gets the barnyard blues. I saw this coming from a mile, Warner Archive seems to be on a roll lately doing animation - and it seems, with the exception of Hey There It's Yogi Bear, that they're releasing on Blu ray what they've released on DVD before. That and.. I dunno, after the slate this year, you just could tell it was coming.

I'll be buying, I know the movie is not the best, but the animation IS good and should shine with this new remaster. I hope this is only the FIRST of more animation to come from Warner in 2024.

I think the blurb says that the HD master was made in 2023. The BD release may be in 2024.
