Where can I get inexpensive warranty on PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought a PS3. Circuit City wants $150.00 for a 2 year warranty.
Is there some place else I can buy a warranty for less money?

Costco has the best warranty & return service. You don't need to buy one, because its already included.

If you alreadt bought it, you are SOL. You have to get such things during initial purchase. Unless you went back to Circuit City, they'd probably let you add on the warranty after the fact. Best Buy does that.

There are lots of places you can get it after buying a console, i don't know any in the States, but up here you can go to this company called Walker Insurance, and get a warranty on virtually anything

Thanks they were much better priced. Have you or anyone you know ever had to deal with them as far as making an actual claim. I know nothing about them.

Costco concierge service covers electronics for two years. if they cannot repair the item they will buy you a new one, this is included in your membership. Now if you pay with your amex when you buy it amex will cover a 3 year. American express will double the warranty of anything you buy up to a year.

Check your credit card policies. Many of them offer extended periods of warranty on purchases made with them.
