Default So..anyone hoping Wallace and Grommit are release on BD?

I want the curse of the wear rabbit so badly. I love that movie so much. It would look really cool on BD.

Wasn't this film done in CGI to look like claymation? I'm usually a CGI man myself. How does this hold up to other Animations like The Corpse Bride, and Nightmare before Christmas?

You're thinking of Flushed Away.

Apples and oranges. Wallace & Gromit are not articulated mannequins or puppets---in hi-def I think you could probably make out fingerprints in the plasticine used in Aardman films. Give'em a rental, at least...unless you're Anglophobic, or find British humor unfunny.

There are a few bits that were done in CGI in the Were-Rabbit film, like the floating rabbits (including during the end titles). Also, although the rest is mostly plasticine, I think characters may have metal armatures inside.

The were-rabbit character isn't plasticine and is a puppet with a metal armature inside.

I stand corrected.

The Wallace & Gromit characters themselves were plasticine though. They had a rod jointed skeleton for their lower half with steel feet so they could be magnetised. Their arms had a wire armature - I've just read.

I love how that movie is just packed with subtle humor. It took so much time and meticulous work making the movie that these amazing minute details and gags are everywhere!

I would buy Wallace and Gromits' films the day they come out! I've loved them since I was... I don't know - um, 5 or 6.

Hopefully they'll release all of them at the same time. I'd like them to be in seperate cases. But if the shorts must be within one disc - so be it! As well as including the Cracking Contraptions.

Oh! And I just found out a few days ago about a new short. Called Wallace & Gromit in A Matter of Loaf and Death. I hope to see that soon. Since I don't live in the UK or any country that got it.

Any stopmotion from Aardman would look good. The best part is that I'm (almost) sure all their work was done on film, so it would be simple to put on Blu. I hoping all of Wallace and Gromit's films get to Blu since their new short just came out.

I would love to see them too. Gromit says more with his eyes than some actors say with their mouths.

The latest short is getting a UK release on blu on March 23rd, so let's hope that everything will eventually be released. It's hard to see how they can justify a release solely for a 30 minute short, so it will be interesting to see what else is included.
