Video playlist on PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

Is it possible to have playlist of video files on PS3 like we have playlist for music files?

It is pain in the butt to start each video manually.

Anybody knows?

I'm not looking at my PS3 right now, but I think they added the playlist functionality to music, pictures, and videos with the 2.40 update.

I don't think there is one for Videos, there has always been one for Music and Photos but not for Video files.

Doh! You're right. Looks like there's no way to queue them up on the PS3 then...

Personally I think it's pathetic, how can you have a Photo Playlist (who the hell uses that anyway?) and not have a Video Playlist.

I have around 750 music videos I could use a Video Playlist for!

I'm hoping they add a video playlist,.. I could really use one.

I can imagine why the playlist for video isn't there,.. But,... I hope they add it anyway.

I wish also that the resume function they have for DVD's and Blu Rays could work with the BDJava Blu Rays. I would like to get into a Blu Ray and setup the audio options and start the disc right at the start of the movie (after the FBI warnings and those disclaimers about the commentary not being representative of the film makers) then dump out to the XMB until I'm ready to start the movie for people in my theater then I can start it nicely.
