Anyone know if the French release of Atonement is region free? - Blu-ray Forum

I would consider importing this one on blu as long as it is region free. It doesn't seem like it will get a US release anytime soon.

I think it'll get a BD release much sooner than later, considering it's a previous HD DVD release. I wouldn't be surprised if Universal releases it the same day as Wanted, which also stars James McAvoy.

It is officially announced by Canal as region-B only. Whether this turns out to be the case is another matter.
