When there is a solid release date for this title, Square-enix will announce it officially.

Amazon.com is always doing this for upcoming products that don't even necessarily exist yet. Funny how amazon.ca doesn't do the same. Anyways, don't read into this at all - it's meaningless.

Its not meaningless as it is Available for Pre-Order as I have posted in the Thread title. The price and release date are subject to change though, but you atleast get the price change garentee. Who knows, maybe they may announce it to be more expensive, though I highly doubt it.

I've had my share of amazon orders that were never filled because the product was never made available through the particular item listing. If you find it meaningful to pre-order an item that has no indication of street date or retail price, then go ahead, knock yourself out. I'll wait until it's announced and priced before I make mine.

This is old news... Amazon sent me an e-mail MONTHS ago saying Final Fantasy 13 (And versus) were available for "Pre-order". God of War III is also available for Pre-order. They have a comment on each item page saying it's not the official release date as well.
