Default I hope GH4's controller is better...

I've about had it with the GHIII guitar controller!

I hate it when I hit the note, which lights up on screen, and then a second later I "miss" the same not?????? How can that happen?
Are there mystery notes? Invisible notes?
It doesn't happen...all the time, but here and there.
My son, who is pretty good (plays on expert) has some of the same issues, and I mean on medium and hard levels.
This both with GHIII and GH Areosmith.
Frustrating...to say the least.
We think it might have something to with the strum bar sticking or something.
We've been real careful to watch and see if we are pressing a button, or bumping something etc.
It's a mystery and its frustrating The lag isn't as bad on Areosmith as GHIII, but there's some.

It might be....but the game probably won't be. Switch over to Rock Band.

You should have bought Rock Band... Just kidding.

Lots of people have been having problems with the controller for GH3, me included. Which is odd because Red Octane made a good controller for GH1 and 2. I'm sure the guitar for GH4 won't have that god-awful detachable neck. Stupidest idea ever, I swear.

If it was just me, I'd think..well I just need more practice. But it's not just me, I've read other complaints here, and elsewhere.
My son is pretty good. He's beaten the games on hard level, with scores in the high 90 percents. And he even complains about it.

Although I should say, he doesn't have as much trouble on the 360 as he does my PS3.
Could be something with the programming??

I'm with you man. I think it's the fact that it's wireless, since I've never had the same troubles with the wired one. They shouldn't have even released it without having perfected it.

Completely agree - after GH3 I'm totally done with the GH series.

Man I'm glad I decided to get the PS2 version and stick to the guitar I had for that console.
