Default Just Scan, tilted picture?

i guess this is the right forum but move if it isnt

Ok so i have this issue with 2 of my tvs, they're not my dedicated movie watching tvs but it still irritates the hell outta me as they are the ones i play games on or watch asian dramas with my mom on

1 is a Samsung DLP 56" the other is a Toshiba Rear Projection 57"

when i hook my Laptop up the image will display on screen tilted like so (not as extreme mind you but you get the idea)

when i use one of my ps3s on these tv's it didn't have that issue

now i never had an issue with the DLP, until recently it would do the same thing with both a laptop and ps3

however when i set the display setting to 16:9 instead of Just Scan (on the DLP the toshiba doesnt have that option) the image is fine, not tilted

i don't notice an issue with my other tv's

so its teeing me off especially the samsung as the tilting is more prominent
