Will Ferrell is Two Face

Will Ferrell is attached to star in Two Face, a Vince Gilligan-scripted drama-comedy for Sony Pictures Entertainment, says Variety. Mark Johnson and Jimmy Miller are producing.

Ferrell will play the title character, a racist who, after a prank gone awry, develops a split personality.

Ferrell has been intrigued by the script for three years, but the project has gained momentum over the past year. Johnson and Gilligan previously worked together on Home Fries, and Gilligan's more recent credit is the Sony hit Hancock.

Johnson and Miller are looking for a director, with an eye toward making the film early next year.

The pitch for this doesn't sound that much like "Me, Myself & Irene" except for the split personality aspect... plus this is also a drama-comedy (i.e. dramedy) whereas the 2000-Jim Carrey vehicle was purely a comedy with some dark undertones.

To me it does. A guy who has been a racist his whole life gains a better half that isnt. Just like me myself and irene jim carey was being shit all over then he gains a half that wont take any crap. And me myself and irene isnt the first split personality movie. Then in the end I bet hell see the hurt and the pain hes caused from being a bigot and renounce his evil ways and change. This stuff has been done to death before and will be done again and again even after this one. Im not impressed. Im looking for something fresh.
