Germany Color Out Of Space (2020) Blu-ray 3D [TBC - possible retailer error]

Not sure what to make of this one. I thought this was a pretty interesting movie with a lot of awesome color, but I don't recall anything about it being in 3D.

Mediamarket has a 4k/3d listing;

https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product...y-2625565.html

Amazon Germany has a 4K edition with 5 Blu Ray's and a CD inside for the bargain price of 88 euro lol. I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd need 5 discs for this movie, but maybe this means someone converted it for some bizarre reason??;

https://www.amazon.de/Die-Farbe-aus-...p;qid=&sr=

EDIT:

SATURN has the 3D edition up for pre-order as well;

https://www.saturn.de/de/product/_di...y-2625565.html

Anyone know if this was released anywhere in 3D or is this another Sleep Doctor?

I'm certain this is not in 3D.

German auto-conversion?

Saw the movie on Friday. Gets pretty insane by the end. One part towards the end reminded me of the much superior Annihilation. Think there was a nod to John Carpenter's The Thing. Would have been cool in 3-D tho.

I think if this does come out in 3D in Germany it must be an auto-conversion. But we shall see...

I pre-ordered it on UHD where the colors should look amazing. I would only reconsider this if there is a real 3D version. Sounds like an error or auto-convert, so I'll stick with UHD.

Per an announcement from Richard Stanley, the 5-disc has a full making-of documentary and remastered versions of DIE MONSTER DIE, THE CURSE, and DIE FARBE which are all previous adaptations of the story.

But does it have a 3D version?

I really liked this film, and it was a joy to see Richard Stanley back in business. But surely there's no possible way that this would have any budget for a proper 3D conversion - so the only way this could be a genuine 3D release would be if they'd natively shot it but forgot to tell anyone...
