Help needed with PAIN(PSN Game) - Blu-ray Forum

Seeking your help with this problem. I have purchased the game and have been playing for a while. Recently I downloaded this patch and updated the game. Now I cant play the game anymore.

Everytime I launch the game it says, updating the game saves and the update goes on and on in a loop. Game never loads.

Appreciate any help.

you could always just delete it and then redownload it with no extra cost for i believe up to 5 times

You can re-download any item purchased from the PlayStation Store as many times as you want, as long as it's to the same machine(s). You can only activate each purchase on up to 5 machines (in case you have to get one replaced, buy extra PS3s, etc.). But once its activated to a machine, you're free to download that content as often as you like to that unit, with no limits.

ah i see i just couldnt remember if it was download up to 5 times or 5 PS3's

I had this problem also, right after the 2.40 update came out I did the update for PAIN. It kept looping and I thought my PS3 was going to crash. I just left it (was tempted to cancel and shut down my PS3 but that worried me even more). After probably 10 minutes of looping, it finally came up and is update. Scary though.
