This is as off-topic as things get, but I figured I'd see if anyone else ever experienced a similar thing.
I responded to an ad for something on Craigslist (I won't say what, but it has a monitor and a keyboard, and a mouse), and the guy quickly responded to say it was still available. After sending a follow up to find out about meeting him to check the item/potentially buy it, he never responded. Two days later I emailed him with a different email address/name asking if it was still available. He responded soon after, saying it was. I sent a follow up asking about buying it, and he never responded. So I don't think this is a scam in the sense of some guy trying to rip people off, because he's not asking for money, or even responding to follow-up emails. Is he just humoring himself by seeing how many times people will email him? |
