Movie Gadgets.

I watched The Dark Knight last night, and when Lucius (sp) showed Bruce his new suit i wondered how I could get a job like that, I have always been interested in how they created costumes, and the gadgets they use in movies. For instance, I like in Mr. and Mrs. Smith how they turned the Oven into a stockhold of knives for Angelina's Character. I am just curious, how i could get a job like that.

Get a bachlor's degree and go to LA I would think. You're right though, it is interesting. I would love to sit down and see how they do that.

A bachlor's degree in what though? Mechanical Engineering is the only thing I could think of...

I don't know but watch Batman begins on Blu-ray and they show how they built the whole suit, the first suit obviously, the people who worked on the suit explain how they did it in an interview and as your watching the interview their names will come up and right under it the name of their job is written. I just don't remember what it was.
