no movie icon - Blu-ray Forum

hi everyone
until now there is no movie icon in the playstation network in my ps3 .
is there any thing i shoud do?
help please

not really sure what icon you're talking about........ until now??? so now there "is" an icon? what does it look like?

... Like the icons on the PS3 for Music, Video, Gaming, Friends, Users and settings? Or the actual icon to select to play the disc? If it's the latter, are you sure you have a disc in there?

the movie icon on the top left in the playstation store

Video icon, top left of the PSN store for the Video store... Mine disappeared for about fifteen minutes and then was back. Just try back again in a little while.

yours disappeard for 15 minutes

I have the same problem too! Ever since the launch of the video store I haven't been able to access it. There's no "video" icon next to the "games" icon in the store. Do I have to accept terms first? is there something I have to do first in order to access the video store?

"Help!! I need somebody! Help!" ...

It's region locked to IP addresses originating from the USA only at the moment. Regardless of which PSN store you are registered with, if you are connecting outside of the US the movies will not be available to you.

Actually, no, I didn't know what you were talking about and neither did the first few people that responded. But now I see you meant the icon in the store, and not the video icon on the XMB.

In fairness to the OP, he did say "movie icon in the playstation network" in the first post.

That is true, but I just thought maybe the names were mixed up or something. Plus the whole movie and TV show thing is pretty new in the PS Store. I also thought the PS Network and PS Store were 2 different things for some reason.

My brother's disappeared. He turned the system off and then back on and it was back.
