Default Need a little advice....

I have a 65in Mitsubishi Rear Projection DLP with the PS3 and the Onkyo 605. Anyhoo, I currently have my setup stationed in a corner away from my windows, as it was my assumption its best to keep these some distance from the windows, from any potential heat or water. After pondering my seating situation, I think I could get better viewing angles, if the setup was in another part of the living room, which just happens to be right near a window. I guess what I am asking is, does it really hurt the t.v. or other equipment that much being close to window, as long as say its maybe a couple of feet away from it? Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome! Thanks guys!

Shouldn't be a problem, I've had the TV in my living room 8-10" from a window for going on 8 years. No problems at all.
