Default recievers & DACs

When looking at the spec sheet, they never include the DAC model.. I guess I got accustomed to it, since external DAC makers have no problem with releasing this info.. & the majority of external dacs don't even use Brown Burr, which seems to be a 'generic' DAC.. I have the V1800 by the way. I have a feeling that yamaha recycles the same dac & put the same one in every model.
