Platinum case - Blu-ray Forum

OK I dont know if you've seen the new platinum cases but I'll just say they look crap. I mean its meant to be platinum not yellow. And the greatest hits range looks really good.

heres what i want

okay i made it on paint in 2 minutes but you get the basic idea silver case, silver strap saying PS3 platinum. I mean isn't it obvious

the ps1+ps2 platinum cases were silver why yellow :S

I mean that i've seen some of the spine of the PS3 games for Europe and its just white with the game's name in a black bold font (Some games, not all), not very attractive

Whereas NA has a nice spine that shows the games name in various colours and whatnot.

Not all, no. Some are just a basic black on the spine, generally with a white font. EA Sports did this a lot, at least early on (haven't seen the newer ones).

platinum is better for sure, but Sony has gone with the garish colors since ps1. Green on ps1, red and psp/ps2. Besides, MS uses Platinum on theirs, and sony probably wouldnt want to use the same thing.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about.

But Europe usually has bland spines.

Yeah but u dont need a greatest hit to stand out, as people seen those game covers for over a year if not longer Rainbow Six Vegas or RFOM being an example.

I just remember reading how they wanted a loud color as to stand out more.
