Hi All! I'm new to your forum after lurking for awhile. What a wealth of great info!! I've tried to find the answer to this question by searching the forum but so far no luck.
I have a Mitsubishi WS-73711 HDTV that has no HDMI. Seems the best it has is DTV, Component and Firewire (plus VGA). My question is how can I attach a new BR player (I'm considering the Sony 350) to this TV? This TV has a wonderful HD picture but do I lose all the great features of the latest BR players? I really can't afford to pop for a new TV at this point. Thanks for any ideas you might have! |

My dad has a WS-55711. Component cables do the trick quite nicely. We send audio to his receiver via HDMI and use component for video. Its still 1080, but the tv is only capable of 1080i (no 1080p, or 720). Picture is great, and audio is fantastic.
