Default Surround Speaker Max Input watts VS Receiver watts

Noob question.
The Klipsch RS 52 (surround) says on their back: Maximum Input of 125Watts.
Will it be okay to drive them with the Pioneer VSX 92TXH that rated at 130 watts per channel. Will that be a problem? If it is, what will be the problem or to what extent will it be a problem?
Thanks for the help.

No problem at all. You're more likely to damage a speaker by under powering it than over power it (within reason, of course!).

to add on to richteers comment,

just dont blow em out by cranking it up loud, instead of listening at a compromisable volume.

plus, your not going to drive your surrounds that hard as the fronts anyways. in both situations, its ideal to have the reciever and the speaker match in wattage, but then again, reality subsides.

When U say "loud", how loud is loud? What I mean, what do U consider loud (in terms of volume for example)?

i mean loud like people who cruise around in their pintos blasting their speakers saying 'look at me, look at me!'...

loud is considerably beyond the amount of volume you need to play something that you can respectively listen to.

Thats funny.Dam those people piss me off

When your speakers sound more like a blur then your probably to high.Just when it comes to your speakers have caution .

Speakers are like part of my family(I would hate if something bad happen to them)

Talk to them ,ask them how there feelling. LOVE THEM.They try to love you back don't they.

Iam sorry iam running out of meds,Time to take a trip to the hospital again

In all likelihood you could crank the volume of the receiver to its max and the the thing that'll end up damaging the speakers will be the amp clipping, not the speaker getting too much wattage (that receiver isn't likely to be able to actually deliver 130 watts all channels driven and the rears are going to be the least used). 130 watts into a Klipsh speaker is going to be way too loud to be enjoyable anyways (not only are they efficient, but bright speakers tend to be fatiguing more quickly, for me at least).

I wouldn't worry in the slightest, unless you enjoy turning your receiver to its max volume... if that case any speaker you buy is likely at risk though.
