i went to circuit city today to pick up a copy of dark city and no copies. They also didnt have top gun or hunt for red october. I stoped by best buy and they also didnt have it (they did have the other 2). I called blockbuster target wal mart and sam goody and nowhere had it in stock. I really should have ordered from amazon

believe it or not boarders has it. The one thats next to BB on Apalachee. its 29.99. sitting on their "new releases" rack. i saw it yesterday.

awesome, im heading over there now. I know 30 bucks is a rip off but im selling my speakers tomorrow since i just graduated and im moving home, so i have to see it before that

for some reason some places get only like 2 or 3 copies of movies like this. (Movies that have been out for a while that wasn't big at the box office)

There was one copy left at BB in Amherst, NY... WAS - I grabbed it and watched it, yay me.

Sony might have underestimated the demand for this title. It was #6 on Amazon's top seller list yesterday iirc.

I ordered it from DVD Pacific and it's now in transit, but now they have it listed as "on order" if you try to order a copy. Sounds like it's selling really well

I just picked up dark city at best buy (just outside of philly) a few hours ago, I think I got the last copy they had. Now I'm realizing that I didn't see Beowulf there. I may have just overlooked it but I don't think so.

I had luck and got it from amazon.com and delivered today. I didn't order it too far in advance either. It's next after The Hunt for Red October.

I checked my local Best Buy and Circuit City and they didn't have much that was new today. I did see the Clear and Present Danger which amazon.com was tardy on so I picked it up and canceled my online order.

I had a beast of a time finding it. I posted in a different thread that I visited a BB, BBV, CC, Barnes & Noble, and Target before finally running across one at Borders. They had three copies, and I paid just over $20 with tax.

Yeah, I picked up a copy of Dark City on Tuesday at the Borders in Tallahassee. It was the only shop I could find it at. They had one copy left, but that was yesterday.

Coupled with that 40% Rewards coupon, it was a pretty good deal.
