December 7 for both Fantasias (original and 2000).

I'm looking forward to getting these on blu-ray. It's too bad Fantasia 2000 wasn't more of a success. I had the fantasy that Disney would finally do with Fantasia what Walt had always intended - continually release it with new and updated segments. I'd have loved to have seen Fantasia 2010, 2020, 2030.

They were working on a Fantasia 2006, but it was cancelled. The 'Little Match Girl' short on the Little Mermaid DVD was supposed to be a part of that Fantasia movie. It still sounds like a great experience, and I wonder why Disney doesn't go through with it, since it's relatively cheap to produce (regarding the fact that a few sequences are from the other movies). Must sound like music to the ears of the board of directors.
