I just finished watching Famil Guy: Blue Harvest, and now I'm about to sit down and watch all episodes of Star Wars, and I'm just wondering, will Star Wars be released on Blu-Ray? And if so, will it be released all at once or will they release it episode at a time.

I for one will buy the complete season on Blu-ray the day it releases price is no object, I must have Star Wars on Blu-ray, anyone agree?

I also saw that commercial on the Home Shopping Network. This is all happening so fast now. Probably see Indy out in a couple weeks.

Hey: I am a visitor to supershadow.com. Lucas personally answers fanmail every few days there. I have read on this site that Star Wars films (at this time, anyway) will not be released on blu until 2015. The reason being is that there are not currently enough households with blu to maximise profits. If you recall, Revenge of the Sith was never released on videocassette for roughly the same reason.

I guess you're unaware because this is your first post but we had many discussions about this when it released last year. I'm pretty sure we all bought the Star Wars Blu-ray Special Edition Box set which contains all six episodes as well as 3 extra Blu-ray discs full of special features in full 1080P although some are in 1080i but I'm not complaining. It's all sold out so good luck finding a copy because it's a hot item.

this thread makes me laugh. all 6 star wars are actually supposed to get released March 21st along with episodes 7 8 and 9 new movies in theaters

I hate having to wait a friggen month for titles like that. Especially the ones not even released in theaters yet.

Well, they only released 500 sets before reinstating the moratorium. Many of us were fortunate enough to get them. I'm sorry the OP won't be able to get one. Though, if money really is no object, if you send me $166,727.28, I'll be sure to get you the entire box set, along with a check I need you to deposit for me. You'll get your money back once you deposit this check from Nigeria...
