I thought that the DTS MA spec was confirmed obviousley not. I was so looking forward to a TV show with DTS MA. I guess I will have to watch season 3 of Weeds or look forward to the 24 seasons. Altough not having lossless on a TV show is not a deal breaker for me although it dissapointing, although no lossless track on a feature film will break the deal for me.

Josh put Dolby Digital because that's what the website is now saying. My guess is that it's a mistake. I've seen the rear cover art for "Heroes" S1 and S2 and it shows DTS-HD MA.
I couldn't find where I saw the rear cover art for the US versions, but I did find it for the UK version: http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releas...n-blu-ray.html Notice the DTS-HD MA listed? Unless the person who works for WB is moonlighting at Universal, expect DTS-HD MA! ![]() ~Alan |

Did you notice that only disc 2 of season 1 has TrueHD while the others have DTS MA? Thought that was kinda funky...
**lol, guess someone did notice. Last edited by threenine; 07-31-2008 at 06:07 AM. Reason: Redundancy |

Well, I would say that there is no uncertainty when it comes to the standard bd studios. Fox and Lionsgate mainly use DTS-HDMA, and Sony and Disney use TrueHD, with a smattering of LPCM from Disney and Lionsgate. It's only been Warner that has been schizo about the audio tracks. Paramount is still new, but all their new titles have been TrueHD, with DTS-HDMA on Top Gun. Universal to this point has also been DTS-HDMA. They haven't given us reason yet to doubt them. Warner has time to change their tune.
