Looks like a badass movie but too much footage was shot for a preview. I basically saw the whole movie during the preview.

That looks nothing like the original. I like the use of the Mustang, but other than that, I was hoping they would keep it similar to Death Race 2000. Maybe it isn't supposed to be a remake.

I agree. It looks pretty cool, but it's not Death Race.

Uhm, wow. They gave away the "plot twist" in the trailer. I hate when they do that. Not that it was a big surprise anyway.

Movie looks like fun. Definite rental though I doubt I'll see it in theaters.

Like, for example, the original movie had an actual functioning sense of humor--Picture something closer to why we liked the original Verhoeven "Robocop"...

(And if the "remake" had just been a standard grab-the-title-and-run graverob, fine, but NO:
They had to write in reasons to nickname our main characters "Frankenstein" and "Machine Gun Joe". Respect for the original, you see.)

Looks alright, worth a rental. I agree with the JS remark, really there's just 3 movies I like him in, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and Transporter 1.
