Default What Software Would I Need To Replace A Broken Disc?

I am traveling a lot at the moment, one reason I am not as active as much as I'd like on the fourm.

Becuase I travel I keep all of my Blu-rays on a hard disc in ISO disc image files, so I may watch them without carrying all my discs. One of my discs that was lent to a friend and has ended up unplayable. However I still have the disc image on my computer, would I be able to burn this to a Blu-ray disc?

  1. What software would I need?
  2. Can I buy Blu-ray discs larger than 25 GB?
  3. Can I do this without breaking the law or Blu-ray forum rules?

I have a Windows PC running Windows 7 Ultimate and a Blu-ray drive that can write to Blu-ray discs. I apologize if this breaks any rules and understand if the post must be deleted.

Thank you I appreciate your help.

discussion of software to remove copy portection is not allowed on here. (other websites for those discussions).

But in regards to placing an ISO file onto a disc you can use Imgburn.

Thank you Crackinhedz, I do not wish to remove copy protection I had a feeling that this discussion would not be allowed. I already have the ISO file on my harddrive, I just didn't know how to burn it to Blu-ray disc. I will look at imgburn thank you again.

Yes ImgBurn and you can buy 50GB BD-R but they are like $4-$5 each in quantity. Use a good brand like Verbatim. I buy them on ebay shipped direct from Japan.

EDIT: Your PC probably came with a burning program like Roxio that will work as well.

Thank you HyperRealist I built my PC myself. My drive did come with the basic Nero sowftware but I downloaded Imgburn with no problems. Thank you for the link I found a box of discs on ebay for £6 Free P&P.

I don't plan on copying many discs just the one broken disc but it seems the price of blu-ray discs will prevent anyone copying discs on a large scale perhaps it's to stop piracy? I hope the price comes down in the near future.

Yes, but I didn't notice there was only 2 discs in it. Sorry if I got your hopes up I'm not disappointed though I only need 1 disc.
