Default No Love for Chuck Norris

There are many action icons of the 80's that have endured over the years and some of their films have graced the format with little or no respect as far as quality goes. These guys made some great action classics and some varied turds as well, but at least we have some of their movies for us to enjoy.

Seagal
Stallone
Schwarzenegger
Van Damme
Willis

except for one dude that has been around since the 70's.

Chuck Norris - after all he fought Bruce Lee in 2 films and eventually had 2 successful franchises of his own in the mid 80's only to fall into movie hell after a string of turds, making a comeback on the small screen as Walker: Texas Ranger. So of his best efforts on film, which ones would you want to see released on blu with a little respect:

1978 - Good Guys Wear Black
1979 - A Force of One
1980 - The Octagon
1981 - An Eye for an Eye
1982 - Silent Rage
1982 - Forced Vengeance
1983 - Lone Wolf McQuade
1984 - Missing in Action
1985 - Missing in Action 2: The Beginning
1985 - Code of Silence
1985 - Invasion USA
1986 - The Delta Force
1986 - Firewalker
1988 - Braddock: Missing in Action III
1988 - Hero and the Terror
1989 - Delta Force 2: Opperation Stranglehold
1991 - The Hitman

I would like to own - The Missing in Action trilogy / Delta Force 1+2 / Lone Wolf McQuade / Code of Silence / Invasion USA / The Octagon and The Hitman.

Ha, see?--You DID forget that dopey Karate Kid/Last Action Hero one, where some kid is the only 12-yo. in the world to daydream about movie-specific Norris scenes...Told ya! Even the fans don't want to remember that one!

(Although I still say it could have made more money just putting on the poster, "See Chuck Norris kickbox the crap out of Joe Piscopo ")

Actually, "Sidekicks" is probably the only one of Chuck's films that I've seen, and i still enjoy it today. The cast was great for an action-comedy type of thing, and the story was relatable (who hasn't dreamed of having adventures with people they admire?). Jonathan Brandis (so sad how he died ), Mako, Julia Nickson, Beau Bridges, Danica McKellar, Joe Piscopo...all of them did wonderful jobs in that movie.

This is probably one of the funniest martial-arts fights in film history...

YouTube - Sidekicks - Chuck Norris vs Kelly Stone
I enjoyed Sidekicks as well, pretty good cast too but it's easier for people to make jokes about it then to admit they actually enjoy the movie

Beside Sidekick is a masterpiece compared with Top Dog

From day one The Octagon was shamelessly cheesy, it hasn't aged well and it would be an automatic day one preorder.
