Default BTB + Blu ray players

just realized im not getting btb on my 42 " sharp aquos. I guess the ps3 doesn't allow it or something. The IRE isn't right on them. I found this out using my DVE blu ray disc. so do I need a new blu ray player to get Below the Black and which ones support it?? I would like to stick with sony if I could. Thanks

Check your settings. RGB to Full instead of Limited. Superwhite on.

Setting my PS3 to full doesn't give me BTB info. I figure something else in the signal chain is at fault. (namely my HDMI to RGB converter, the HDFury.)

Some have said they get BTB from PS3 even when using limited anyhow.

I don't know why I don't get BTB. Funny thing is... it shows up on the little thumb nail pluge patterns in the menus .... I guess those are not accurate.

Superwhite only effects the Ypbpr HDMI output. So,.. if you locked into RGB like me (because of my HDMI converter) superwhite has no effect. (I think.)
