Default X-Rite EODIS2 Eye-One Display Calibration

I posted this in the Hot Deals forum, but, I also felt like it should be posted here in case anyone missed it down there....

This is a great deal for anyone who wants to calibrate their own unit.

Mods, if you don't want this here, please don't move it to the other one....just delete it.

It's too bad it isn't the whole Eye-One Photo package. That is what I really want. I already have the Optix XR Pro for my monitor.

The product on sale calibrates your monitor so that it outputs correct colors. It is mostly desirable for things like photo editing where the colors on the screen need to match very closely what gets printed out.

so, using it would optimize PQ for blu-rays?
