With the newly announced Blow and Daredevil a few days ago, September is looking more and more like the be-all month for Blu-Ray releases.
Must owns already for me, Transformers (9/2), Blow (9/16), Godfather Trilogy (9/23), Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Iron Man, Daredevil & Knocked Up (9/30), are joined by other possibles Kill Bill 1&2, Sixth Sense, Outbreak, 40-Year Old Virgin, and finally the rumored 1408, and Speed Racer, but Beetlejuice was pushed back Sidenote: I hate the word "pwns" but used it as an option in the poll to poke a little fun at it. Copied and Pasted and updated periodically: the complete list from releaselists.com for reference (if its too long and annoying, let me know) The link: http://www.releaselists.com/BLURAYNorthAmerica.html September 2, 2008 Black Mask (1996) (Hak hap) Eraser Every Which Way But Loose Gauntlet, The (1977) Invincible Iron Man, The (2007) Marine Aquarium Married Life Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow Outbreak (1995) Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles Then She Found Me Transformers (2007) Under Siege 2: Dark Territory September 8, 2008 Blu-ray Masters of Horror Bundle (Masters of Horror - Season 1, Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3, Vol. 4) September 9, 2008 Baby Mama Cool Hand Luke Day Watch (Dnevnoy dozor) Fall, The (2006) Forbidden Kingdom, The (2008) Girls Gone Wild-Spring Break 2008 Grey's Anatomy-The Complete Fourth Season How the West Was Won (1962) IMAX-Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag IMAX-Mystery of the Nile IMAX-The Alps: Climb of Your Life Jerry Maguire Kill Bill Vol. 1 Kill Bill Vol. 2 Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 Manilow, Barry-Manilow Live Night Watch (Nochnoy dozor) Omen, The (1976) Omen Collection, The The Omen (1976) Omen 2: Damien (only available in The Omen Collection) Omen 3: The Final Conflict and (only available in The Omen Collection) The Omen 666 (only available in The Omen Collection) Rudy (1993) Smallville - The Complete Seventh Season Superman Returns (re-release) Westinghouse September 16, 2008 1408 88 Minutes AC/DC: No Bull (Director's Cut) Another Cinderella Story Dragon Ball Z - Tree of Might / Lord Slug Emperor of the Seas Great North Hulk Love Guru, The (2008) Made of Honor (2008) Mist, The (2007) Orbison, Roy-Black & White Night Pirates of the Caribbean: 3-Movie Collection Pushing Daisies-The Complete 1st Season Risky Business Shrek the Third Speed Racer (2008) Torchwood-Complete Season 1 September 23, 2008 Anchorman: Legend of Ron Burgundy Animalia: Welcome to the Kingdom Blow (2001) Cirque Du Soleil-Corteo Deception (2008) Godfather Trilogy, The (The Godfather, Godfather 2, Godfather 3) Godfather, The (1972) Godfather 2, The Godfather 3, The Halford, Rob-Live Insurrection (remastered) L.A. Hahaha. Its not as important or amazing as the others obviously. But it's a Marvel flick that I found entertaining. Better than alot of other Marvel stinkers for sure. The Daredevil release does not bring the overall September credibility down though
![]() BTW: Nice list of movies you want to see Blu, I love every one of them except 2, I especially liked your nod to NBK: DC and American Beauty Last edited by NMErickson; 07-15-2008 at 06:25 AM. |

I think November is a better month overall. I mean comon, that's the month of the Dark Knight, Kung Fu Panda, Incredible hulk, Matrix Trilogy, Wall-E, and possibly Hancock, The Happening, The strangers, and Wanted. I know some of those are unconfimed but to me, they are practically going to be in November. Though, September is a great month as well.

September by a wide margin:
Godfather Kill Bill L.A. Confidential Outbreak Cool Hand Luke Omen, The 1408 Madagascar Rudy Blow Forgetting Sarah Marshall Knocked Up 40 Year Old Virgin Sixth Sense Texas Chainsaw Massacre Transformers Unless November has some massive announcements, September wins in a landslide. |

The Godfather is a given, but everyone should do themselves a favor and read up a bit on L.A. Confidential. Truly amazing film that would have won best picture any other year if it weren't going up against Titanic.
