France Nightwatch/Daywatch (EU)

Hi folks,

I went last week in a FNAC (FRANCE) and found Nightwatch and Daywatch on a 2 blu-ray discs box set.
Don t know why but only Daywatch is sold separately and I was able to check if it is free zone... which I think it is.
but I don t know if Nightwatch is...

Does anyone know and can confirm if both disc are free zone??

The Japanese version was NOT Region Locked and featured European languages which means FOX has created a common encode for Europe and Japan regions. The U.S BDs are reported to feature English DTS-HD MA instead of vanilla DTS track that is found on the import.

French releases of Night Watch and Day Watch are region free. I'll add them to my site ( http://www.blurayregioncodes.com/ ) later today..

As tempted as I was to order the imports, I'll wait for the US release. Gotta' have DTS-HD MA!

I'm extremely geeked out at the idea of getting these on Blu.

The covers look OUTSTANDING and I can't wait.

I wonder if they'll do that trick with the subtitles where in that scene in the pool (Night Watch) the subs are red and bleed away into the water.

That was pretty cool

Yeah, I was going to preorder the US release, but I really want the movies to have the 'effect' subtitles. Thats the way I saw them originally, and thought it really added to the experience.
