"The Thin Red Line"
"The New World"
"Days of Heaven"
"Badlands"

I am REALLY anxious for these works of art to hit the Blu!
Will any of it happen before "Tree of Life" hits the big screen?

I know "The New World" is supposed do be getting re-released in a new extended version, but no news of the Blu-ray of it. Iwould presonally like to see one for TNW and TRL....

I too am anxiously awaiting the release of each of these classic films.

I read over on the digital bits that Warner is releasing an extended version the New World in October but unfortunately it looks as though no Blu-Ray is scheduled, I have emailed them to complain about this and suggest you do the same.

Was hoping Fox would put out The Thin Red Line along with its other recent War Film releases but it wasn't to be, maybe around the time The Pacific debuts they might do a release to try and cash in.

Criterion released an amazing DVD of Days of Heaven not that long ago, I'd love it if they simply put out a Blu version of that release. Their first releases aren't until October but you never know what they'll announce after that.

When I read they were doing a DVD-Only release of The New World extended edition yesterday, I just about punched the computer. His films NEED to be on Blu-Ray. Why they would release it on DVD and not Blu-Ray is beyond me. Seemless branching anyone? But another film of his I'd love to get is The Thin Red Line. I'd also love to see the 6 hour long version of it just because I love the score, the performances and the visuals so much. But I doubt that'll ever happen.

I suggest all of you complain to Warner Home Video about their not releasing The New World - The Extended Cut on Blu-ray.
