Question How to get a message to the movie reviewers?

Does anyone know how to get messages to the movie reviewers?

I cant find any kind of contact page except this forum.

I need to correct a mistake on the Opus Arte disk reviews. They all say that each Opus Arte disk is VC-1 where they are actually AVC.
I dont want to skew any 'preferred codec' statistics!

Many thanks.

I expect you'll need to check the validity of what I said.
It might help to know I'm a Blu-ray author at EPC (electricpicture co uk), who author the Opus disks.

Well I meant a PM was sent to the reviewer. I see one of the four reviews already says AVC.

We have at the moment 8 Opus Arte movies in our database. Care to check if the specs are the correct ones in them? Thanks

Ah, got you!

I'll go through the list:
  • Cecilia & Bryn at Glyndebourne (Blu-ray): TBA should be AVC
  • Il Trovatore: Giuseppe Verdi (Blu-ray): TBA should be AVC
  • Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Blu-ray): VC-1 should be AVC
  • Mozart: Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) (Blu-ray): MPEG-4 AVC (AVC implies MPEG-4 and H.264)
  • Puccini: La Boheme (Blu-ray): TBA should be AVC
  • Rossini: La Cenerentola (Blu-ray): VC-1 should be AVC
  • Strauss II: Die Fledermaus (The Bat) (Blu-ray): VC-1 should be AVC
  • Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake (Blu-ray): VC-1 should be AVC

Apologies for suggesting they were all VC-1 - I just remembered they were not AVC!

Also two or three were marked as region A, whereas they're all ABC (ie region free)

Just so the reviewers know, there are no future plans to change the codec or the region settings.

Many thanks for your help!
Nathan.

Thanks. Everything has been corrected now.

It says MPEG-4 AVC in the options to let know readers it's the AVC h.264 version of MPEG and to distinguish it from MPEG-2 as a newer, advanced codec. There was much confusion at the beginning about codecs and it's a way to show AVC -> MPEG-4 h.264

There's a few audio specs missing. Upcoming specs are sometimes hard to come by so if you have any new info we'll make sure to put it up.
