Default The Omen Fans (Please read)

The original The Omen is coming out on Blu soon and I have a concern about a missing scene. When the original DVD came out back in 2000, I remember clearly that it had a scene towards the end when Mr. Thorn was driving away from his house with Damien in the car and he ran over the nanny that was standing outside. For reasons unknown, this scene was removed from the 2 Discs Collector's edition that fox released a few years back, and only shows Mr. Thorn driving away. The short scene when he runs over the nanny magically dissapeared. I sure hope that this scene is restored on the Blu Ray edition, otherwise I wil not be buying it!

Has anyone else also noticed this scene ommission?

Default Not "that" big of a fan!

Sorry man, I don't know the movie(s) that well. Very interesting though. You should join Horrorview.com and ask them. Also, one of the Horrorview members has joined this forum under the username "Horrorview" (pretty sure), I'd send him a note.

Hope that helps!

Didn't the nanny hang herself from the top floor window during Damien's birthday party?

OP is talking about the second nanny, Mrs Baylock (played by Billie Whitelaw). She's the lady who allows Damien to adopt the rottweiler and has a knock-down-drag-out with Gregory Peck.
