What to get for my ps3?

Hey guys,

I just got the 80gig bundle today and was going to trade my 40gig in and an extra copy of mgs4. I was wondering what I could get with my store credit? I think its about 150-200?? not sure

Here is what i was thinking.

PS3 eye (not too sure when i would actually need this)

Singstar(i guess i would need the eye here. I hear the game is fun, but only with a group of friends.)

Guitar hero 3(last guitar hero i played was the first one lol. I played 3 a few months back and had fun)

Burnout Paradise

What to do guys think? Also, any other games you think are awesome?

Well, may want to consider a blu-ray/dvd remote.

Do not get Guitar Hero 3. It is made by a different developer than the first 2 and is riddled with bugs and hardware problems. Unless they have a used copy for cheap, don't get it. Wait for GH World Tour or Rock Band 2.

I've heard nothing but good things about Burnout, so that seems like a good bet. Maybe another dualshock 3 if you need another controller?

I just remembered when my friend brought over his gh3 the guitars kept going out of sync. Crossed that off my list.

I want to get rock band but there is no room in my tiny apartment to put all the stuff. My gf would be really annoyed..lol.

Exactly. And the detachable neck doesn't help either.

I keep mine in the box at all times so it doesn't take up tons of space, but it is a pain having to assemble and disassemble the drums every time I want to play.

i have gh3 wireless for ps3...and it works fine...connects very easily...i read in some posts it didnt....But i went out on a limb...purchased it..and it doesnt have any problems...But i guess its because my ps3 is better than everyone elses....i can download firmware..and play games without a problem...

I would get Oblivion Game of the Year Edition.

It has over 200 hours of gameplay in it even without the 2 expansions (which the GOTY has).

If you have doubts get the greatest hits version for $29 (it doesn't have the Shivering Isles expansion though).

Of course if you have a PC that can handle it, get it for the PC. The mods available are unbelievable.

part 2 is coming out a few months after the 360 version anyway right? I might as well wait for that one.

get Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or 2, Call of Duty 4 then wait for Call of Duty 5 World At War to come out even Valkyria Chronicles looks promising in my own personal opinion but thats up to you decide

i would keep it as a back up console, or if like me you have another hdtv like i do in the bedroom hook it up to that i find it idea for when the kids are watching something on ps3 i go on my second one to play games

Rock Band 2 comes out for the PS3, PS2 and Wii about a month after the 360 version. I posted a tidbit on how the non-360 folks will not be hurting from the 360 timed exclusiveness in the Rock Band 2 thread poopshoot

Wow a whole month....microsoft must be soooo proud , I wanted to say another couple of good games to get are:

1) pixel junk monsters (and expansion)
2) hot shots golfut of bounds
3) Warhawk
4) folklore (and expansions)

burnout paradise is cool - and it's getting a trophy patch soon. Can't go wrong there.

SW: Force Unleashed looks awesome. Coming in a month

I'd definitely wait for one of the new rock games coming this year instead of getting GH3.

Warhawk is a ton of fun. Great online community, and soon to be getting trophies too!!!
