John Seddon Junior Member Member since:Jun 2008	Problems with Samsung BD P1000 Hi I wonder if anyone can help me ! My Samsung BD P1000 doesn't seem to like any of my newly aquired discs such as Day after Tomorrow , Die Hard 1 and 2 for example . The discs either get ejected or I get a message warning me the player needs a firmware upgrade to play the discs correctly. I contacted Samsung and they sent me a firmware update that I successfully installed but it made no difference. I called them back and they told me the player was obsolete and they could do no more . Is that really true ? I assume they sent me the 1.3 update that is available as a download from their UK website. I've seen a 1.5 update available on this forum but it says for US and Canada only . I'm a bit of a novice and I am stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated!
