Lightbulb Movie Assumption

As I have read and IMHO, it seems that AU is going blu, EU will go blu in a month, JP is already blu and china will go after the crappy players. Is it safe to make the assumption that any future foreign movies will most likely be on Blu-ray? I like to watch foreign films once in a while and it would be nice if they were all bluray.

At the moment I wouldn't say Australia is going Blu, about 16 titles - that were releases in Nov and not another release to be seen since (or almost). The Sony player only available as a demo and the Pioneer seems very well hidden, so only the Panasonic for sale at a ridiculous price with the Samsung not far behind.

I would say that Australia is just not going Red (read HD-DVD). I think that the poor Blu-ray show maybe because of the NO HD-DVD show. I'm hopeful the PS3 launch will change all this and we will become Blu.
