Lack of research or intentional FUD?
You decide! There's even been a message on Amazon UK's gaming section saying they'd reopen preorders with more stock today. Give me strength! |

MS might well be saying they are happy with where they are sales wise, but isn't PS3 production still getting up to speed? So I'd argue that MS with no stock problems, only just being ahead of Sony, who most likely have stock issues, is not that great a position to be in. I reckon Sony will be pleased to see that their supposedly "too expensive" console isn't far behind the 360. But the fact that both are being blown out of the water by the Wii is interesting. I guess the price point is just on the right side of impulse purchase. I still don't want one though! |

Guys - stop this!
The PS3 is NOT selling! They are piled up everywhere, collecting dust! They are clogging the aisles! Nobody wants to pay $500-600 for a console! The launch was a failure! Blu-ray is dead. Nobody wants this system - it's filled with bugs. It's overkill! Why 50gb, when 9gb will do just fine? ANd there's no games! Sure, it's only been a couple of months since launch... but really it should have 1000's of games by now... that's just lame! People know it and that's why they're not buying! Nobody wants a console with even a slight degree of future proofing! That's why millions of 360 users are already gearing up to buy the next Xbox when it's released some time soon and the 360 is obsolete! I hope it's released this summer - because I love fresh consoles! They can't be more than a year old otherwise they go all yuckky! Micro$oft rulz. Etc. Etc. Etc. ![]() |

They have outperformed the PS1 and PS2 and 360 launches...despite the small number of launch titles and the Wii launching at the same time .. and the media campaigns and trolls being funded to spread their lies. Hmm "big" exclusive titles like Lost Planet released in January for the 360 and lots of supply sitting on the shelves and they can barely outsell a console with no big exclusive games in January and one that is just now hitting stride in production. Now combine that with people buying up the more expensive 60gb PS3 version instead of the 20gb one .. .. and it's devastating news for the 360 really .. and absolutely great news for the PS3. MS really has to be feeling deja vu all over again...but hey that's what happens when you put yourself before your customers. HD-DVD anyone? HDMI anyone? 12GB of usable HD space anyone? As far as the Wii sales - it's not really surprising given the price point. Same thing with the DS. No sure why anyone would be amazed they sell more units myself. It's pretty basic economics. Same reason the PS2 sells like hotcakes as well..ensuring a whole new generation of PS3 users. |

I wish everyone would realize once and for all that:
(1) PS/3 are stocked to the ceiling everywhere (2) Nobody wants them (3) When they do want them they will only use them to play games These are cold hard facts no different from the existence Bigfoot, another undisputed claim of Washington state residents. ![]() Gary |
