Question Which Stand Alone Player should i get?

After playing around with a HTPC for blu-ray I've gotten rather fed up with the software players that are available and the impending linking of player and sound card manufacturers really isn't to my liking (I do want 24bit audio but the combinations aren't compatible with my system ). So I've put my thoughts to a stand alone player instead, which has of course raised the question - which one?

I know this has been done to death but I've narrowed it down to a choice of two. The choice is a Samsung BD-P1400 or a Panasonic DMP-BD50. Both have 5.1 analogue which i need for my Denon 1804. Okay the Samsung doesn't do full DTS-HD Master Audio over analogue (but i can live with DTS-HD........). I'm not interested with all the extras so Profile version don't bother me. The real question is, with my system (please see signature) is there really going to be any startling difference? I ask as the Samsung can be bought for £150 while the Panasonic can be had for about £380.

I'm not looking to upgrade any of my kit soon but i do want value for money. I know my system isn't high end (probably not even middle but it does me just fine ) hence why I'm asking the question!
