Default Buffy Seasons 1 to 7

I personally would love to see the Buffy and Angel seasons released on Blu-Ray. I would much rather purchase it on Blu-Ray than get the original DVD collections to be honest. Better quality to enjoy the show with.

With Firefly just out, I've been thinking about someday selling the first two seasons of Buffy I own on DVD if it comes out on BD. Just please, not during Christmas time. I need to start to buying for other people now, not just me! Too much great stuff always comes out at this time!

Go ahead and buy them on DVD, a very long wait if ever, as the first 3 seasons have to be rescanned and edited back together for an HD release (masters are 480 only), and seasons 1 and 2 are only 16mm and on a very low budget (so not that impressive in HD).

^ Thanks, Jeff (again). I'd read a review about the low budget SFX quality on Firefly BD, and you confirmed what I suspected about what could also be the case with Buffy. By comparison tho', Buffy's SFX don't need to be as impressive as you'd hope they'd be in a space adventure like Firefly. In any case, the "very long wait" is a good timetable to know.
