Hi,
Does anyone understand this blu ray edition of the lifeguard?... http://www.amazon.com/The-Lifeguard-Blu-ray/dp/B015P3710I?SubscriptionId=AKIAIY4YSQJMFDJATNBA&tag =bluray-021-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creative ASIN=B015P3710I&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER It's listed as a movie that's made on demand (or per order) onto a BD Rom disc and also listed as being in the NTSC format. Quote - Important Product Information - This product is manufactured on demand in the BD-R format. It will play in nearly all leading Blu-ray players that have the latest firmware updates. Microsoft Xbox One, however, does not currently support BD-R playback. =Brian Last edited by bhampton; 02-23-2016 at 05:47 PM. |

The size of the m2ts file is 19,689,897,984 bytes. To confirm, released by Screen Media / FilmRise, it's a single layer BD-R 25, burned and not replicated. It is an authored Blu-ray disc (complete with a basic menu), and it isn't copyright protected. The bitrate is 24.551. The timestamp on the disc is September 18, 2015. In addition to the (lossy) 5.1 listed on the trapsheet, it also has 2.0 audio. It has a very sturdy thicker non-eco case (which unfortunately still managed to get cracked due to Amazon's horrendous shipping) and a normal looking (professionally printed) trapsheet on nice, thick paper stock. The art side of the disc is "thermal" printed (I used to run one of these disc printing machines) with just the title of the film, a barcode, the company logos, and the somewhat inadvisable "Blu-ray Disc" verbiage that is also present on the trapsheet (though the case wisely doesn't bear the actual Blu-ray logo). Above the barcode, small print reads "Manufactured by Amazon.com, Columbia, SC" |
