"Fighting against the Helghast is actually very cool in Killzone 2 online because you can see their eyes in the dark and through dense smoke. It adds to the idea that these two opposing sides are really locked in a conflict. But regardless of what side you're on, Killzone 2 is a lot of fun online and clearly offers a tremendously rich experience to PS3 owners. I was truthfully shocked at how close the multiplayer portion of the game looks like the incredibly vivid single-player we've seen so much of before. Every little detail seems reflected in the multiplayer. My only complaint is the framerate, which definitely suffers during moments of intense action, but I can only imagine that these issues will be remedied by the time the game hits store shelves. The folks at Guerilla still have several months left and code optimization is a priority for them right now, so gamers shouldn't be concerned.

Overall, Killzone 2 was a blast -- even in my sleep-deprived state. I can't wait to see more."

yeah, I can't wait for online play. I think it should at least prove a match for CoD4 in terms of fun factor, longetivity and customization features.

Me too, im hoping KZ2 is the one to topple COD4 as best online multiplayer[IMO] and the fact that Killzone is an exlusive just makes it all the more sweeter

I hope so. COD4 has defended it belt against many a challengers. knocked Haze out in the first round. RB6:V2 stood its ground but was KO'd in the 6th round. Battlefield was the closest thing to a Mayweather/De La Hoya match, but it lost by decision. Its all on the shoulders of R2 and KZ2 now.

This is why I absolutely prefer online gaming on the PSN.. Such a huge improvement in gameplay with dedicated servers and it is free

my excitement for this title is waning...

I think they announced this game waaay too early and it has had about 4 years worth of time to lose its steam...I have a feeling that its initial release will be lacking...

I agree that this was either announced way early or development just took forever.

I'm really hoping that this meant 4 years of crazy amounts of development and the final product will blow us all away even with the years of hype.

I am actually really looking forward to this game. Its delay kinda soured me for a bit. But now I am back and willing to wait for this game. After seeing these new trailers I checked out some user videos. This one has stood out. Really does this game justice.

Whoa! Just watched the new multiplayer trailer KZ2 off Playstation Store. I did see it the other day off gametrailers on my laptop, but watching it on my HDTV Wooohoooo! gotta say it looks alot of fun. Great graphics,weapons,explosions, sparks and blood flying everywhere, loving those sentry guns,the air support and what about that cloaked sniper eh? thats gonna be great fun!
It has been along time and i hope.... no im sure Killzone will deliver. unlike other games i.e HAZE which we heard alot of hype but saw nothing about, proberbly cause they new it would flop. we have seen alot of KZ2 and how its developed especially over the past year. Personally this is my most antisipated game OF ALL TIME! and its my birthday in February 09...well its my birthday every februrary but this ones gonna be special
