Kill Bill 2 is $30 and both of them together are $39--I'm not complaining but I just want to know what the deal is here. And, the bundle at $39 is listed as NC-17--why?

Can someone shed some light on this please?

Must be a misprint, unless you are looking at The Whole Bloody Affair, which does not have a release date.

I am willing to bet that the exclusive bundle available at Amazon is merely the pair of standalone releases shrink wrapped together. I don't think there is any difference. They are simply encouraging people to both at the same time. I've decided to wait on these because I got a hunch the oft-rumored "Whole Bloody Affair" will be released as a double dip down the road. There are simply way too many other discs heading to Blu-ray before Christmas that I want more than the basic "Kill Bill" flicks.

Actually, from what I heard, they are releasing this as the Whole Bloody Affair... which would be NC-17 for graphic violence.
In the scene against the 88 assassins in the first movie, one rumor as to why they went Black and White was to hide the massive amounts of red blood which would have given them a higher rating.
If this is not the WHole Bloody Affair, then it could be a misprint, or maybe it is included with the movie.

Still, I think my wife is looking forward to these, believe it or not. Personally I couldn't stand Lucy Liu's bad Japanese accent.

that's a possibility. Because I ordered the Japanese DVD back then and on that version the whole fight in the end was completely in color.

Maybe that's why it's rated NC-17. Still, NC-17 sounds strange. Nowadays Movies are usually just "unrated" on Blu Ray

well i think you should have it there on release date most likely but give or take a few days.

Actually, it depends upon on a lot of different factors. What your shipping method is, such as 1-day shipping or 2-day shipping or even Free Shipping (please don't do that). Also it depends how close an Amazon distributor is to you. Fortunately for me, one is in Kentucky and I get all pre-orders the same day as release as it only takes 1 day to get to me with 2-day shipping and they ship it out the day before release.

This is not the Whole Bloody affair as has been discussed already. It is 2 movies shrink wrapped together adn gving us a discount- basically selling each for 19.98. It is an 'Amazon Exclusive'.

The rating is a typo cause they are rated R separately.

Disney doesn't own the rights for Whole Bloody Affair..Weinstein does.

What's wrong with the free shipping option from amazon? I ordered 7 blu rays from amazon last week on a thursday and recieved them 2 days later on saturday (using the free shipping option).

I've just heard a lot of horror stories using that selection from people expecting to receive the order on the day of the release.

Also, I've used that before I got Amazon Prime and for some reason the USPS always takes like a week for it to arrive to me using that method.

Though just like not everyone receives their order the same day as the release date with using 2-day shipping, not everyone will receive it as quickly as you did with Free Shipping, its just that I've heard more bad than good with times of receival.
