The price isn't bad (429.99) because you're not really paying for HDD space but for functionality (read full BC). There is no warranty for them, but there is this statement:

Note GameStop refurbished systems are not covered by a manufacturer warranty. Normal GameStop return policy applies.

I'm not sure if that's like 30 days or what, but if you really want a 60 GB PS3 then this is probably a good chance to get one.

Yeah but there refurbs with a not very good warranty...and your shopping at game stop....alot of no nos in my book....

I just stick with the mgs4 80 gb bundle for 499.

I'm so uptight when it comes to my electronics, I make sure they give me a non open box and stuff like that so I could never get a high tech device that has been tampered with. But that's just me

Guess its good if you really need the BC , but I hate Gamestop "refurbs" because they are not really refurbished.

thats because they get sent to the warehouse and they remove everything on the HDD so its not actually fixed just a used ps3 without the original content from the previous owner. unless its not working then the warehouse fixes it after someone trades it in. its just an automatic thing when someone trades in a ps3, xbox 360 hdd, and also a psp memory stick. but we do check and see if they work or not
