Default Movie With The Best Cinematography.

What movie (to you) has the best cinematography ever???

Mine:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

To me this is easily the best looking movie ever made, and it's one of my favorite movies ever as well. Alfonso Cuaron pulled off that movie brilliantly, and the Cinematographer Michael Seresin deserved an Oscar for his work IMO. Everytime I watch that movie I can't helped but to be wowed and thoroughly impressed. 7 years later and it still holds up brilliantly well.

Last of the Mohicans, as well.

A more recent one is Scott Pilgrim, there is either something funny, or something cool, in every frame of that film

I always loved the Cinematography of Michael Mann's movies. Especially Manhunter, Dante Spinotti was the cinematographer for that one.

Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford: This movie has some fantastic Cinematography in places.

Not saying it is the best overall but certainly deserves a mention IMO

I agree. I cannot think of another movie that is comparable. Lawrence of Arabia is stunning!! Hopefully we will get a release in 2012,, the 50th anniversary.
