Don't waste your time and money on anything else but Samsungs 67A750
this tv uses less power than a tube 27 inch. Plasma's burn in and waste tons of power and will have pixel drop-outs before long and then where are you... warrantee does not cover you unless there is 8 or more dead pixels. They will lose there brightness over time and burn in images sooner than you can imagine. LCD's are so fragile and always pixelize (milisecond loss) and will lose pixels over time. They burn in too. I find Lcd and Plasma when watching regular cable or satelite are blurry unless you get the Pioneer Elite model but who has $9000 to buy one in only a 60 inch size. I have had this tv for only 2 weeks and regular cable looks nice and basic DVD is beautiful. I only have one Blueray and the picture is breath taking. HD tv is absolutely out of this world beautiful. Color is so vivid it almost knocks you over. Bright and vibrant which will never change unlike plasma. Bulbs used to be an issue but now they are LED's so they do not burn out or lose any vividness ever unlike plasma they used to have color wheels which did break down but they have advanced to a superior system with no moving parts. This tv also has advance 3d which in time when movies are encoded you will be able to buy special 3d glasses linked for this tv only to view 3d High Definition. This will make HD signal look like regular cable looks now in comparison. how many people do you know that still have a plasma or lcd over 3-4 years old....... they want to get another one because the old one looks faded or just doesn't compare to new ones. The price back then was crazy 8-10 and even $20,000... what a waste of time and money. you will be 100% happy you bought this tv... good luck... shop around and you should be able to pick it up for around $1900-2000 Last edited by ronntek; 09-01-2008 at 07:19 AM.
