Blu-ray Samurai

Blu-ray or no Blu-ray. Spend money or not spend money. That was my quandry.
I have been on this forum only a short time trying to find out how to make my TV watching experience what I felt it should be. I gleamed as much information as I could from Blu-ray.com and all of you. From all that information, I purchase a Blu-ray player, new receiver and hooked everything up a couple nights ago. I had also purchased a few Blu-ray DVDs in anticipation of the hook-up. Last night I plugged in CARS. What an amazing Blu-ray DVD. The separation and the movement of sound was astonishing. I felt I was really at a raceway as I closed my eyes to better feel the sound as it carried back and forth across the room. I have spent a fortune trying to find that sound and hooking up Blu-ray did it. I thank everyone of you that have answered all my questions and have led me to the sound I now have. Now all I have to do is to take out a loan to buy more Blu-ray DVD's. |
