I am so all over disc.I was waiting for this thats why I haven't seen this movie at yet.

good. hd dvd only had one cut. i want to make sure, we are still not being lowered by their standards.

Sweet....I never got to see this and have been waiting for it to come out on Blu. Now I get two versions to enjoy!

I actually made a concious effort not to watch it on DVD, and to wait for an eventual Blu-ray edition. The future is now.

I got the 3-disk set dvd...I couldn't resist. Eh surprisingly I don't watch American Gangster all that much. May not be worth another go. I'll wait a while for it to go down in price. IMO I watch Godfather and Goodfellas much more than I do AG.

I really like this movie alot. This will be a great addition to the collection! Awesome they are giving us both cuts of the film, more releases that have multiple cuts should be doing this. Once again, it looks like Universal is on a roll! They came into the Blu-ray game with a bang and are continuing the trend. THANK YOU UNIVERSAL.

i thought it was comin on oct 21st though i guess i was wrong
which is good though
cause i got two movies to buy on oct 21 already lol
but i will be gettin this for sure
good thing i never bought this one on DVD
so now that its on Blu-Ray i will be buyin it

Yes same here I LOVED this movie, and every time I walked by it on the shelf at Blockbuster I was so tempted to rent it....... but I resisted to wait for blu-ray, release it now!!!!!!
